    Getting on the courses

    Peer motivators

Where will I have to go?

Courses are held at different sites in and around Hackney.  Each course description will tell you which venue it will be held in.  The venue guide gives you more details.

    What’s in it for you?

As well as being free, fun and a great way to meet new people.  HYPU gives you the chance to improve your skills.  All students who complete their courses will receive a Certificate of Achievement, which details what they have learnt.  These can be used for students National Record of Achievement or in portfolios for further study or employment.  Some courses offer sport awards or national accreditation (eg the British Red Cross First Aid Course).   Any certificates that you are awarded will be present during the HYPU Awards Ceremony in December.
